Devon Reese’s recent Facebook post in, response to my article, explaining “Why Boise and not Reno?” is revealing — not for what it says, but for what it avoids.
If we keep electing POLITICIANS, we will continue to get POLITICAL "solutions" which are usually just business as usual, hand wringing, empty promises, no accountability, deflection, and "I tried my best." Then they exit stage left to take on a new political role on stage right.
The bureaucratic inertia to plod along the same path decade after decade - the glacier like pace of measurable change - is infuriating to most of us.
Like him or not, Trump went to Washington and has achieved more in 12 months than any previous president. He had the RELENTLESS, INDESTRUCTIBLE WILL to make things happen! The country is better off for it.
While I'm fairly sure you and I will be voting for different candidates for mayor , the points you're raising in your last two submissions are incredibly valid and should be addressed head on by the folks that are running for this office.
You certainly hit the nail on the head in your first article and also this response to Reese's FB post. Reno needs a big change in our elected officials. Love reading your daily report!

You are 1 heck of a hard-working, knowledgeable, and dedicated person!!!!
Not enough discussion is ever spent pointing out that none of the Reno
candidates has ever had enough talent, background, and just plain savior
fair, etc,etc.. to fix Reno.
And the Reno voter is victim of believing everything the local media has
perpetrated against them. Etc, etc, etc.
And don't even get me started on the honesty of the Reno voting system.
